Kulyx – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Kulyx ("Platform", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of Kulyx's website, mobile application, and services, including the Marketplace, Chef Portal, Community Forum, Nutrition Services, and Gamification features.
By using Kulyx, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
User: Anyone who uses Kulyx, including visitors, buyers, sellers, chefs, and community members.
Chef: A user registered on the Chef Portal for job search, profile creation, or service listing.
Restaurant/Employer: Entity posting jobs or hiring chefs.
Marketplace: Area where products/services are listed, purchased, or sold.
Content: Any text, photo, video, review, message, and other materials posted by users.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kulyx. By using the platform, you confirm that:
- You have legal capacity to enter into an agreement.
- The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. User Account & Responsibilities
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Keep your login details secure
- Not share your password/OTP with anyone
- Provide correct profile details and documents
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
Kulyx reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if misuse or fraud is found.
4. Platform Services Overview
Kulyx offers multiple modules:
A) Marketplace
Users can buy/sell listed items or services. Product/service details, pricing, availability are managed by the seller. Kulyx may provide payment support, but does not guarantee delivery quality unless explicitly mentioned.
B) Chef Portal
Chefs can create profiles, apply for jobs, and manage job preferences. Restaurants can post jobs, view profiles, and hire chefs. Hiring decisions are made by restaurants/employers.
C) Community Forum
Users can share experiences, posts, comments, and interact with community content. You must remain respectful and follow community guidelines.
D) Nutrition Services
Nutrition plans, recommendations, or health-related content is for general guidance only. Kulyx does not replace medical professional advice.
E) Gamification
Users may earn points, badges, levels, rewards based on engagement. Kulyx can change reward rules at any time and has the right to remove points if misuse is detected.
5. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Post abusive, hateful, harmful, sexually explicit, or illegal content
- Harass other users
- Post fake job listings, scam offers, or misleading details
- Share personal data of others without consent
- Try to hack, abuse APIs, or attack the platform
Violation may lead to account suspension, removal of content, and legal action.
6. Job Listings & Hiring Disclaimer (Chef Portal)
Kulyx only provides a platform connecting chefs and employers. We do not guarantee:
- Job selection
- Salary terms
- Authenticity of every employer listing (though we may verify)
It is the responsibility of chefs and restaurants to verify documents, identity, work terms, and contract conditions.
7. Marketplace Terms (Buying & Selling)
Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must:
- List genuine products/services
- Provide correct descriptions, prices, and images
- Ensure timely delivery/fulfillment where applicable
Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers must:
- Review product info carefully before purchase
- Provide correct delivery/contact details
Refunds/Returns
Refund/return availability depends on seller policy, product type, and platform policy updates. Kulyx may assist disputes but does not guarantee refunds unless stated.
8. Payments & Transactions
Payments may be processed via third-party payment providers. Kulyx is not responsible for failures caused by banks/payment gateways. You must not use fraudulent cards or invalid payment methods.
9. Community Content Rules
By posting any content on the forum:
- You confirm you own the content or have permission to use it.
- You give Kulyx a non-exclusive right to display and share content within the platform.
- You agree not to post copyrighted content without rights.
Kulyx can remove content anytime that violates rules.
10. Nutrition Disclaimer
Nutrition module can include calorie estimates, health tips, diet plans or recipes. These are informational only and not medical advice.
Always consult a doctor/nutritionist for allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, or critical health situations. Kulyx is not liable for outcomes caused by user choices.
11. Gamification & Rewards Policy
Gamification system may include points, rewards, badges, streaks, ranking/leaderboard. Kulyx reserves rights to:
- Update scoring rules
- Remove earned points for abuse
- Suspend users manipulating rewards system
Rewards have no cash value unless clearly stated.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We may collect name, phone/email, profile info, activity logs, community content, and device/session data.
We protect data as per applicable laws and security standards, but no online platform is 100% secure.
13. Termination of Access
Kulyx may suspend/terminate access if you violate terms, misuse platform, illegal activities are found, or repeated complaints are reported.
You may also delete your account anytime (as per account settings).
14. Intellectual Property
All platform elements including logo, UI design, code, text, features, database are the property of Kulyx.
You may not copy, sell, modify, or reuse any part without written permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
Kulyx is not responsible for user-generated content, job selection outcomes, marketplace disputes, service delays, or any indirect loss, reputation loss, or business loss.
Use of platform is at your own risk.
16. Changes to Terms
Kulyx may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be effective once posted on the platform. Continued use means you accept updates.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Algeria. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Algiers.
